Chef Jason Febres and his family started Rent The Chef with one mission: provide professional catering services for Wichita and the surrounding areas.

Our experienced team is the heartbeat of the operation. From intimate private dinners to corporate events and over a thousand weddings catered, you can relax and enjoy your special occasion while we handle the food.

What areas do you cater?

We're based in Valley Center, KS and cater events throughout Wichita and the surrounding areas. If your venue is a bit farther out, give us a call and we'll let you know.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can, especially for weddings and weekends during peak season. Popular dates fill up quickly, so reach out once you have a date and a rough guest count.

What kinds of events do you cater?

Weddings, corporate events, private in-home dinners, graduations, showers, holiday parties and more. We have catered over 1,000 weddings.

Can you customize the menu?

Yes. Our taco bar and pasta bar are crowd favorites, but we regularly build custom menus around your tastes, theme and budget.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Let us know about allergies and dietary needs when you book, and we will talk through options to make sure every guest is taken care of.
